These draft terms apply to the Nearfolk preview. They are not final and have not been reviewed by qualified counsel.

The preview

  • Nearfolk is not yet taking orders, payments or reservations, and is not paying out cooks.
  • Cooks, dishes, ratings, reviews and hosted tables shown publicly are sample content.
  • No liability waiver is active.

Independent cooks

When transactions launch, cooks will be independent people, not Nearfolk employees. Nearfolk does not guarantee food safety, sanitation, allergen-free preparation or the condition of any home or kitchen.

Your account

Keep your sign-in email secure. Don't impersonate others or post misleading content. We may suspend accounts that break our Community Standards.

Fees when payments launch

Diners will pay a service fee on the meal or seat subtotal and cooks will pay a commission on meal or seat proceeds. Current percentages are shown on each listing and in cook earnings. No platform fee applies to taxes or tips, and cooks keep 100% of tips.
